ART - make a comic - after school - ages 8 - 12

  • The Place 12 Victoria Street Lewisham, New South Wales, 2049 Australia (map)

After-school art for kids aged 8-12, led by visual artist Kieran Clancy-Lowe.

Kids invent their own characters, build a story around them, then draw and assemble their own original comic book page by page. The focus is on the whole creative process - coming up with ideas, making decisions, working through problems and finishing something. By week five, every student walks out with a comic book they made themselves. No art experience needed.

Sessions are booked as a 5-week module.

Time: Tuesdays 3:30 - 4:30pm

Ages: 8 - 12

Max: 12 students

Price: $150 for the full module
